Basketball is one of the most popular games in the United States. The game is played on many different levels across the country, with playing in the NBA being the ultimate destination for every aspiring player. There are thousands of young confident players representing their high school and college teams in different leagues hoping to impress their respective coaches and scouts. But, only a few of them achieve their dream target of being able to be represented by the biggest teams in the NBA.

One such upcoming talent is Lyle B. Shannon II. At an astounding 6’8, he is one of the most promising young prodigies of youth basketball in the country. Currently playing for Oceanview Seahawks team for the last two years and most recently Liberty Christian, Lyle is not only a sought-after player but a force to be reckoned with at just the age of 14 years old. With an entire professional career in front, there is only one way up for him. Lyle is doing really well with his academics. He is juggling basketball practice and his academic studies very well.

Lyle plays defense just like his idol Michael Jordan. At this young age, he’s as tenacious as Jordan and has the speed, quickness and will be able to shut down any guard or small forward. His main attributes are his teamwork, his competitiveness and his ability to be a born leader. He is player #52 following in the footsteps of his father who was also a #52.
